The Graduate Diploma in Management programme is recognised by Northumbria University, UK with entry to Masters Degree and the quality is monitored by Institute of Human Resource Advancement and University of Colombo.
Graduate Diploma in Management programme provides an analytical and rigorous management education which will enable candidates to acquire key knowledge and skills which are required for effective first and middle-level management.
The aim of the programme is to introduce candidates to the functions, operations and some of the strategic issues which managers face in their daily work. The programme leads students from the arena of practical management skills, through a series of analytical tasks and exercises, which are designed to relate theoretical background to practical reality. By the end of the programme students will be aware of and understand the key concepts which underpin management and organisation, and know how to make and act upon more effective, analytical and reasoned decisions.
