Psychology BSc (Hons)

Study:Full Time, Duration:3 years , UCAS Code: C800 BSc/Psy

The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the scope, methods and applications of psychology, with both theoretical and practical study in a variety of areas, including cognitive psychology, psychobiology, social psychology, evolutionary psychology, crime, counseling, etc. The course is accredited as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC)*, provided the minimum standard of a Lower Second Class Honours is achieved. This is the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

Psychology with Criminology BSc (Hons)

Study:Full Time, Duration:3 years , UCAS Code: C8M9 BSc/PsyC

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the scope, methods and applications of psychology, which is complemented by a cluster of criminology modules that analyse the area in a theoretical, research and practice context. As well as psychology areas, students look at criminology, types of crime, police and policing, prisons and punishment and the politics of crime. The course is accredited as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Psychologist.


Psychology with Sport Science BSc (Hons)

Study:Full Time, Duration:3 years , UCAS Code: C8C6 BSc/PsySS

The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the scope, methods applications of psychology, with an emphasis on applications in sport and exercise. As well as the psychology areas, students look at sport, exercise and health, psychological profiling of athletes, sport and psychological preparation for sport. The course is accredited as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis of Chartered Membership (GBC)* , provided the minimum standard of a Lower Second Class Honours is achieved. This is the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
